31 Hours

later, we made it to Hong Kong. Wow. That was a trip. Surprsingly, the 14 hour flight to Tokyo was not that bad. I watched The Bounty Hunter, The Invention of Lying, Date Night and something else that I can't remember.....slept maybe an hour the whole time. The worst part was the 4 hour flight from Tokyo to Hong Kong. You feel like you've gone so far already, you're just mad that you aren't there yet. The hotel is really close to the airport so got in went straight to bed and woke up 11 hours later.

So far Hong Kong feels fairly normal. Everything is in English and it's really clean. Last night on TV we had everything from the Andy Griffith show to Jersey Shore. Just like home. We're getting ready to get dressed and head into real Hong Kong though and that may be different. Right now we're on some island somewhere outside the "city." Jerod said the world's largest Budda is really close to us, but can't see it from here, so I may not ever.

So strange. I just looked out the window and I am looking at some sort of fishing boat, a ferry and a little boat like you would imagine in China. We're defininately not in Kansas anymore.
