Tour de China

Here's our nutty next two weeks. I mean, really, could we be in any more foreigny places doing any more emotional things?


Wed October 13th- 8:00 AM leave for Hong Kong via Atlanta and Tokyo. 20 hours of flying. Ugh.
Thurs October 14th- 10:50 PM arrive in Hong Kong
Friday October 15th- TREK bike tour of Hong Kong (Ummmmm, yeah. That's Jerod's plan.
No teasing, kidding, or joking. Wish I was.)
Sat October 16th- Fly to Fuzhou the capital city of Collins' Province
Sun October 17th- Get to hug sweet Collins for the first time!
Monday October 18th- Provincial paperwork day. Tuesday October 19th- Visit Collins' orphanage. Ugh. Going to be so hard, but I think really good.
Wednesday October 20th- Fly to Guangzhou
Thursday October 21st- Sightseeing and, hello, shopping of course
Friday October 22nd- More shopping please and then I guess we'll see the Pearl River or something
Saturday October 23rd- Collins' medical exam day. NOT a fun day. Doctors and immunizations.
Sunday October 24th- More shopping
Monday October 25th- Collins' Consulate Appointment day...the American Consulate clears her for entry into the US and approves her Visa application.
Tuesday October 26th- More shopping :)
Wednesday October 27th- Collins' swearing in ceremony at the Consulate. Officially an American! Pick up Visa and fly back to Hong Kong
Thursday October 28th- Relax in Hong Kong
Friday October 29th- 8:05 AM HEAD HOME!!!!
Saturday October 30th- Saturday November 13- Recover from Jet Lag

  1. We can't believe you will only be in Fuzhou for 4 days. We were there Sat-Fri. Your trip is a little faster than ours. So excited to see your itinerary. Collins will be in your arms this time next week!!! :)

  2. I know. I thought that was really short too. Have no idea why it's that way. I asked but no answer? And our trip is shorter? Seems like a looonnngggg time right now.

    the medical exam for us both times was just checking to be sure they didn't have a fever and then weight, height, earing and vision....pretty comical and was painless except some kiddos did not like the process being around the doctors just cause :)
